Our room was clean and comfortable, with a large and cozy bed. The sink in the room was convenient, and we enjoyed waking up to the beautiful view of the water. The complimentary coffee and tea made us feel at home. The breakfast had a variety of options including cereal, coffee, ham, eggs, cheese, croissants. The staff were welcoming and the communal breakfast room added to the family-run atmosphere. The location was a bit outside the main city area but easily accessible by tram, and the peacefulness of the area was a plus.

One downside was the noise from the communal area above our room during the day, but it was quiet at night. Sharing the bathroom and toilet with other guests was not ideal, with a ratio of 7 people to one.

Although the rooms were very close to each other, the children working there could remind guests to be mindful of their noise levels and ensure a peaceful environment for everyone.

I chose La Corte Sconta B&B in IJburg because I wanted to visit Silo Zeeburgereiland. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the free bike rental and free Wi-Fi offered by La Corte Sconta B&B. The fresh breakfast every morning with flexible hours was also a great feature. I loved that the breakfast is located on the IJ-Lake in Amsterdam IJburg, and there is a variety of cafes and restaurants nearby. The property also offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge, babysitting service, and hairdressers.
